Hull crack at drain plug

was wondering if any one else has this problem
the hull always took on some water ,
pumps would runn a couple times a day.

We found the crack when we purchased the boat
it seems to have widened over the winter this year

so I plugged it ,
and now have no water in the hull ,
except when it rains
