Equipment Manufacturers

Most of the manufacturers of the original equipment on the Alcan/Alwest boats are still in business.  The following are a few links to these manufacturers.

Beclawat Manufacturing Inc. Manufactured the windows and doors for the entire run of boats.  Parts (including rubber seals) are still available from this manufacturer.
Mercruiser (Mercury Marine) A few of the boats were powered with Mercruiser engines and stern-drives
Onan Most of the boats were equipped with an Onan generator to supply electricity to the various appliances and lights.
Volvo Penta Many of the boats were powered with Volvo Penta engines and stern-drives.
Klacko Marine Fabricators of just about anything in Stainless Steel or Aluminum.
