2016 Rendezvous Summary
Date: August 20-21, 2016
Time: Starting at 12:00 on Saturday
Location: Merrickville, ON

While we didn't nail down the location last year, we did talk about having it somewhere closer to Buster's home port. If you haven't been to Merrickville, you will find it very cute and very accommodating. I hope you can all make it out despite my last minute publishing of details.

Ellen and I will be there on land as usual

Steve and Wendy won't be able to attend this year. Steve has to work and our boat did not go in the water this year as Steve's parents both passed away and there was a lot of house stuff to do.

we are good to go,

traveling south from Ottawa friday,

arriving sat. noonish ? ,

depending on weather and lock availability !

will pass on restaurant supper sat.

returning to burritts rapids, sun p.m.

Arrived late

Hot with rain sunday morning

beautiful boats ,large and small, so many different ideas !

great food , and conversation , lots to drink

could things get any better ?

Dows lake next year ? , as lock passage is free !

lets get planning so others can set aside holidays / time to travel

Pedro, where are you? We're on Rice Lake, about 30K south of Peterborough via the Otonabe.

Terry I live not too far from you. I am on Buckhorn Lake almost right at the Gannons Narrrows bridge in Ennismore. Sent you a PM.
