We have owned an Alcan boat since 1970 when we bought our first Alcan 290.  .  We sold the 290 in 1978 and purchased Sioux in 1978 from Dawson Marina Limited on Lake Simcoe.  The original Sioux was a Canadian Destroyer I had the honour to serve on.  She was quite famous (see http://www.jproc.ca/sioux/)

We repowered in 1996.  We have a flybridge made from a Bertram fiberglass flybridge.  We cut off 2/3 of the eyelid to enhance appearance and to reduce weight forward.  We use fresh water, from a holding tank, for our electric head.
